Administration Assistant job summary

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team here at Danesholme Junior Academy!

Hours: Monday - Friday 12:30pm-3:30pm

We are seeking to appoint an an enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, friendly and flexible person, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, to work in our busy school office. The ideal candidate will need to have experience of working in an administration role, preferably in a school setting.

The successful applicant will -

  • have the ability to liaise effectively with pupils, parents, staff and visitors
  • ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and courteously
  • provide support with the administration and maintenance of our school management information system, Arbor
  • have excellent Microsoft Office skills with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail.
