Vacancy for Administration Assistant

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: 30 hours (8am – 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) for 37.8 weeks per year

Salary: Surrey Pay Grade PS3: £16,900 – £17,200 (Full Time Equivalent £24,330)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive administrator with great organisational qualities to join our school office team. This is an exciting opportunity to use first class administrative skills to support and ensure the smooth running of school operations. As part of a team of four, the role will suit somebody who works well in a busy environment, is calm under pressure and a good communicator. The School Office is very fast-paced and therefore the successful applicant will need a keen eye for detail, excellent IT skills and good initiative, with an excellent ability to multitask and prioritise.

We can offer you a supportive, friendly and professional environment to work in. Previous school office administration experience particularly in school admissions and pupil attendance would be an advantage, but training will be given. You will be expected to complete an Enhanced DBS application prior to starting and you will also receive training in safeguarding.

We are looking to employ one person to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (8am until 4pm). This is for 30 hours per week over 37.8 weeks per year on a permanent contract.
