We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our dedicated team and contribute to the efficient operation of our school. The post-holder will act as a first point of contact for the school, managing communications and providing information to staff, pupils, and the public, while also ensuring the smooth execution of administrative functions.

Key responsibilities for this role includes:

  • Undertake reception duties, answering the telephone (transferring calls, taking and delivering caller messages) and deal with face to face enquiries.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support ensuring systems, files and records are kept up to date.
  • Answering of telephones, taking messages and responding to enquiries, using school office equipment and general office duties.

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Experience in a similar role covering a range of administrative duties.
  • A good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy.
  • A proactive approach to prioritising workload.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to suit a variety of audiences.
