Administration Assistant / Receptionist job summary
- Permanent
- Term time plus 5 staff development days,
- 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.
We have a new opportunity to appoint an Administration Assistant/Receptionist.
As Administration Assistant/Receptionist you will be responsible directly to the school Office Manager/PA and provide a professional front of house
service for the efficient operation of administration functions of the school, including school lettings.
The post holder has day to day contact with the Headteacher, staff, pupils, parents and Governors, as well as staff from Swale Academies Trust, other agencies, other schools, the local community and representatives of a wide variety of goods and services..
The successful candidate would need:
NVQ level 2 or 3, with a good general education, including at least a C in Maths and English (or equivalent);
To be willing to undertake appropriate training and professional development;
Experience of organising meetings, writing agendas and accurate concise minutes;
Good IT skills;
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of school based systems such as Brom Com or SIMS would be an advantage.
