Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? de Stafford School is on the lookout for an inspiring and dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to join our passionate and innovative pastoral team.

This is a great opportunity to develop your career as part of a committed pastoral team in a forward thinking and dynamic secondary school working with young people.

You will be providing support to help raise the achievement, aspirations, and engagement of students whilst promoting the partnership between the school, the student and their families. Relationships are at the heart of our successful inclusive school and patience, empathy, and an enthusiasm to work with young people are key to this role.

The successful applicant may come from within secondary school settings or from outside, and we are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at, who feel they could contribute significantly to the success and wellbeing of our young people.

About de Stafford School

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive school
located in Caterham, Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. The
school has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school serves
predominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of students
residing within the CR3 catchment area.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 £27,061 to Point 8 £28,744 (dependent on experience)

Actual Salary: £24,250 to £25,758 (DOE)

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, Mon - Fri (term time only)

Closing Date: 1st March 2026
