The role:
Location:Woodlands Academy, Grimsby
Salary Scale:Scale 2, Points 4 £26,016 (FTE)
£20,955 (Actual)
35 hours per week, Term time plus 5 days
Reports to: Principal/SLT

As the first point of contact for our school, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our positive image and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
Reception Excellence: Welcoming visitors, managing the switchboard, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
Administrative Support: Assisting the leadership team, managing school diaries, and document and report processing.
Student Welfare: Managing student attendance records, delivering first aid, and assisting with medical checks.
Information Management: Updating MIS systems and maintaining secure, accurate student and staff records.
Qualified: 4 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) including English and Maths.
Experienced: Previous administrative or receptionist experience (school environment preferred).
Skilled: Proficient in Google Workspace with excellent communication skills.
Adaptable: A calm, professional demeanor with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
