What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a highly organised individual with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail? Do you consider yourself competent with IT packages and databases? Do you have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality in a school or educational setting? We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our SEND and Safeguarding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update internal databases with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage sensitive SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) information, ensuring records are up to date and compliant with current legislation
  • Organise and securely handle safeguarding documents and files including transition of files between settings throughout the year
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, correspondence, and record keeping
  • Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies as required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have strong experience working with IT and data management systems
  • Be confident handling confidential information in line with GDPR and safeguarding protocols
  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate some understanding of SEND and safeguarding practices (training can be provided)
  • Be a proactive team player with strong communication skills
