Administrative Assistant

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time Administrative Assistant based at Greentrees Primary School.

Hours:

12 hours per week, Monday to Tuesday 8.30am – 3.30pm, with 1hr unpaid lunchbreak each day, 39 weeks per year, (term time plus 5 inset days pro-rata).

Salary:

D4, £24,404 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £6808 per annum)

Our School

Greentrees Primary School is a two site two form entry Primary School with a 12 place Resource Base. The school is situated on the outskirts of Salisbury. The school has strong international links and has an enquiry led skills based broad and balanced curriculum. The school prides itself on its behaviour. It is also committed to teaching children how they learn as well as the content of the curriculum. The school uses Guy Claxton’s 4 Rs of Learning and Carol Dweck’s Growth Mindset model to achieve this.

Role overview

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible Administrative Assistant, to support the Admin Manager in the day-to-day running of our school. Being able to work as part of a team is essential as well as being able to use your own initiative. A positive outlook and a sense of humour is essential! The successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills.

The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
