Administrative Assistant job summary

Administrative Assistant - 26 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Term time plus inset days.

Salary G3:6 - 9

We are looking to appoint an excellent Administration Assistant to join the team at Long Sutton County Primary School.

We wish to appoint someone who will:

Liaise with the Headteacher regarding work to be undertaken

Maintain attendance registers and action first day absence phone calls

Update and maintain databases

Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (such as Word and Excel) and Microsoft 365.

Have great attention to detail and strive for accuracy

Create a strong rapport with parents and children, ensuring good avenues of communication whilst maintaining professional distance

Carry out any other duties of an appropriate level and nature

Participate in first aid training as required

Treat all information acquired through your employment, both formally and informally, in strict confidence

Act in accordance with school policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection, safeguarding, protected characteristics and behaviour management
