We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37 Hours a week (Timings to be discussed).

The Clare School is a warm and welcoming school, which was graded as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted at its last inspection.

Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs.

You will be working in our school office and be the first face that our school community and visitors see when they arrive.

Personal qualities are of paramount importance, and the individual appointed will be expected to display professionalism, good sense of humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Has a good standard of Education (GCSE’s Grade C or above, including English)
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of ICT
  • Highly organised, efficient and hardworking
  • Able to work well both independently, as well as part of a team and use their own initiative
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work calmly under pressure
  • Exemplary attendance record
  • Prioritise work effectively

Previous experience of working in a school office is desirable but not essential.
