Administrative Assistant job summary

Kings Academy Trust and The Deans Primary School are looking to appoint an exceptional Administrative Assistant to come and join our fantastic school.

With the addition of our new Enhanced Resourced Provisions, our school is growing. Our school office, and the people working in it, needs to grow to meet the challenge of working with an increasing number of parents.

We are very much a primary school, and we believe in primary education. We work as a team to get the best from each other and most importantly from the children. As a team, we hold each other to the highest standards, but we also have great fun learning with the children. Our team includes everyone in the building, not just those in the classroom.

We are rightly proud of the continued wonderful academic achievements of our pupils and the fact that we have consistently been rated as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, but this is not what defines the children at our school.

We remove the barriers that may stop children accessing their education fully and the office plays a key role in this. We measure our success by the smiles and laughter that we see and hear around school, as well as by the excellent academic results the children achieve.

As an Administrative Assistant in our school you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Office Manager, Senior Administrator and teaching staff, whilst being supported and developed personally as part of our ongoing commitment to lifelong learning for all.

The character of a candidate is as important to us as their experience. We appoint for personal qualities as well as professional qualifications. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to support your professional growth.

If you want to get a real feel for our school then you should have a good look around our website www.thedeansprimary.co.uk.
