Vacancy for an Administrative Assistant
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 3, Point 2-3

We have an exciting vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant to join the friendly office team at Martin Bacon Academy! The role encompasses Martin Bacon, The Link at Swavesey and the MBA Sixth Form. Your work will include reception duties, greeting visitors, answering emails and telephone calls, inputting attendance and school lunch orders, managing pupil records including admissions data, overseeing arrangements for school trips plus general office duties.
The opportunity:

- Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
- An opportunity to use a range of administrative skills including scanning, filing, faxing and photocopying.
- Arrange, coordinate and communicate details for meetings, training and events.
- Provide receptionist cover if required.

The ideal candidate:
- A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above.
- Experience of working in a school or office environment.
- Experience in working in an administrative environment.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team.
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
