Administrative Officer with Responsibility for Cover job summary
Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Co-headteachers are looking to appoint an Admin Officer responsible for Cover for our busy office. The successful candidate will be resourceful, knowledgeable, and able to maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner in our busy school environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the operations team working closely with the Admin Lead. The post is 36 hours per week for 40 weeks a year and will require an early start at 7am. You will be responsible for providing excellent Cover administration, support, and compliance across the school.
The successful candidate will have:
A good level of ICT competency, excellent communications skills, and the ability to work flexibly
Relevant knowledge of cover in a school or similar setting
Have an understanding of admin procedures and ability to assist a variety of stakeholders
The ability to maintain a calm and productive office team across the school
Be aspiring to develop into a HR role or further Administration Management
Have knowledge of First Aid procedures and Health and Safety
