Administrator job summary
The position of DSAT Administrator is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work at a visionary schools Trust. You will join a team of enthusiastic and engaged colleagues striving to meet the needs of an expanding organisation.
The Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust (DSAT) consists of 24 primary schools and is entering an exciting phase of further growth and as such requires a capable and experienced Administrator to provide efficient administrative support, to both the central Administration and the Governance and Compliance teams of the Trust.
Your key duties will include:
- Providing support for meetings, training and events including managing bookings and hospitality where required;
- Corresponding with internal and external contacts in a friendly and professional manner, via telephone, email or in person;
- Supporting members of the central team with general administrative tasks such as filing, preparing and editing correspondence and reports;
- Undertake word processing of correspondence, standard letters, reports, publications and other documents;
- Assisting with monitoring of compliance within the Trust;
- Creating and updating spreadsheets / data entry;
- Governance meeting minute-taking;
- Point of contact for new governor applications, induction and training enquiries;
- Responsible for governor database including recruitment, renewal and terms of office records;
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have previous office experience;
- Be literate and numerate - Grade C or above in Maths and English at O level / GCSE (or equivalent);
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Email);
- Experience of dealing with customers;
- Experience of financial record keeping.
