Hours of Work: Part time, 14.25 hours per week, Wednesday (8:15am to 4:00pm), Thursday (12:30pm to 4:00pm), Friday (8:15am to 11:45am)
Dorridge Primary School, a very successful large three form entry, community Primary school with a nursery, would like to appoint an Administrator to join our friendly office team and provide administrative support within the school. Under the general direction of the Trust Primary Business Manager, the post holder will undertake a variety of administrative tasks.
The key responsibilities for this post include the following (a comprehensive job description and person specification are available):
- Perform administrative tasks as directed by the Office Manager.
- Act as a front of house to greet parents and children.
- Welcome and assist visitors in school: Sports Coaches, School Photographer, Workshops, SEN Support etc. Ensure relevant checks and paperwork is completed.
- Deal with all enquires, in person, via email and on the telephone. Resolving problems in general as they arise.
- Assist with the administration of Nursery and Reception admissions and new starters.
- Liaise with teaching staff, catering staff and parents about children’s medical and dietary requirements. Ensure relevant paperwork is completed.
- Ensure deliveries made to the school office are dealt with efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain attendance records daily
