We are looking to appoint a flexible, reliable and conscientious person to join our friendly, committed team. As an administrator, you will provide an efficient & effective administration service in the school office in accordance with agreed policies and procedures; ensure compliance with relevant legislation; maintain confidentiality and high professional standards; promote the school and it’s values and work closely with the present administrator.

JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant will carry out the responsibilities of an administrator and business support for the school.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- To greet all visitors and make them feel welcome whilst ensuring all necessary checks are undertaken in line with safeguarding guidance and requirements
- Undertake general clerical duties in the school office, including answering the phone, passing on messages/e-mails/letters.
- Note taking at meetings, when required
- Assist with ensuring that all electronic and paper-based files are kept up to date.
- Use skills/techniques to develop, organise and review digital/social media content to promote the school.
- Use SIMS data system and other systems effectively (training can be given on these systems if required)
- Support in managing the operational business function within the school, including, financial management, human resources, health and safety, compliance and administration (Our school benefits from comprehensive support/advice in these areas from GCC.)
- Support with completion of accurate and timely payroll administration, including the inputting or submission of overtime claims and absences when needed.
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of administration practices and systems.
- Assisting with collation of data for school reports & staff needs
- Undertake relevant training
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested

SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION
- Have up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with and the protection of young people or is committed to training in this area to develop knowledge. Training can be provided in this area.
