What skills and experience we're looking for
An Administrative position has opened at Castleton and Glaisdale Primary Schools. This role will be based mostly at Glaisdale, but cover will be required at Castleton as needed.
You will be handling core duties such as email communications, letters to parents, and other tasks to aid the running of the school.
We are looking for an administrator to join our support team, this role is open to both entry level and more experienced administrators.
This role is not exclusively for those who have worked administration duties for a school environment before, candidates who have worked in other sectors are encouraged to apply.
You will need experience of:
- Working in an office environment
- Paperwork systems
- Strong communication skills – face to face, over the phone and via email
- Understanding and ability to follow confidentiality is essential
What the school offers its staff
Surrounded by gorgeous countryside in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, our two village schools are located around 9 miles in-land from central Whitby.
Castleton has around 50 pupils on roll, and Glaisdale has 26. Our two schools are overseen by our Executive Headteacher, Mr Cooper. Our schools have recently been awarded an Outstanding Ofsted rating following the inspection in November 24.
