What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an Administrator to join our team. You will be a friendly face greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and will keep our school running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include maintaining records, managing email communications, preparing letters to parents, and supporting a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the effective running of the school.

This role is not exclusively for those who have worked administration duties in a school environment before, candidates who have worked in other sectors or have transferable skills are encouraged to apply.

You will need experience of:

  • Working in an office environment
  • Paperwork systems
  • Strong communication skills – face to face, over the phone and via email
  • Understanding and ability to follow confidentiality is essential

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 2 Literacy & numeracy qualification (GCSE English & Maths)

Oakridge is situated in the stunning environs of the village of Hinderwell, located between the North Yorkshire Moors and the North Sea Coast.
