What skills and experience we're looking for
The Trust is seeking an individual who is highly organised, a strong communicator and experienced in SEND administration, statutory processes, compliance and operational management. The successful candidate will bring strong strategic leadership, with the ability to shape, lead and improve systems and processes, drive sustainable improvement, work proactively and use their own initiative. Experience of local authority SEND systems, statutory casework, quality assurance and policy implementation within education or another regulated public service context will support this role.
The role will be an integral part of the SEND and inclusion team, working closely with Trust leaders, academy leaders, SEND case officers, academy business managers and external partners. The postholder will help shape and deliver the Trust’s inclusion strategy through strong administrative leadership, secure statutory practice, effective systems management and robust quality assurance of children’s Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure compliance. It is also important to ensure alldocumentation is of a high standard, funding and commissioning activity is well managed, and Trust systems support effective access to provision.
The role will report directly to the Deputy CEO for Inclusion, Standards and Sustainability, supported by the Head of Inclusive and Pastoral Education.
