What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a professional, organised, and welcoming individual looking to be the "face" of our academy? We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy front office. As the first point of contact for our academy you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the academy while providing exceptional support to staff and visitors.
You will be based at Academy House, Threemilestone Industrial Estate. Working Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (3.30pm Friday) with half an hour unpaid lunchbreak.
Duties include:
· Front of House & Communication
· Be the First Welcome: Act as the primary point of contact for all visitors and callers, providing a warm, professional greeting and directing them appropriately.
· Enquiry Management: Efficiently handling telephone calls and digital enquiries with a friendly and helpful demeanour.
· Digital Correspondence: Manage email accounts, ensuring all messages are responded to promptly or forwarded to the relevant department.
· Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent brand voice and professional aesthetic across all administrative materials and communications.
About You:
· A People Person: Someone who enjoys interacting with children, parents, and professionals.
· Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience is highly desirable.
· Attention to Detail: A commitment to accuracy, especially when handling data and confidential information.
· Adaptability: The ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
