Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship job summary

The successful candidate may be based at either our Newquay or St Austell location.

At Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT), our mission is clear: to provide every learner with an exceptional educational experience. One that enables them to thrive, achieve and succeed in life. We believe in a 100% mindset, that every learner, in every classroom, in every school, deserves the very best we can offer. For us, 100% means no compromise: no learner left behind, no community overlooked, and no opportunity wasted.

Our strategic goals reflect this ambition. We are committed to empowering and growing our people, building an ambitious all-through entitlement, forging exceptional relationships with our communities, transforming provision through meaningful partnerships, and leading an ethical, effective and innovative organisation. These are not just aspirations; they are promises that shape the way we work and the culture we are building together.

Joining CELT means becoming part of a values-driven trust where collaboration, innovation, and care for people are at the heart of all we do. If you share our 100% mindset, are passionate about education, and want to make a tangible difference to learners and communities across Cornwall, we would be delighted to welcome you to CELT.

Supported by colleagues across CELT, you will produce accessible, engaging media output to inform, inspire and grow a range of audiences, internal and external. This will include articles, podcasts, photos, videos, infographics and more for use across our internal channels, in our schools and on our websites and social media accounts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and to show a range of skills in support of a high-impact organisation led by clear values. CELT is on a mission to put Cornwall on the education map. If that excites you as much as it excites us, then let’s get to work. Please note that, due to the nature of this role, occasional evening and out-of-hours work will be required to support events and key trust activities.

This is a term-time only position (plus INSET days), 37 hours per week (0.89 FTE).

The successful candidate may be based at either our Newquay or St Austell location.

About Cornwall Education Learning Trust

Type
Multi-academy trust

As a Trust, we agree that a child needs to feel that they are wanted, loved and valued for exactly who they are, from the beginning. There is no replacement for that and if it’s not right at the start, everything that follows is playing catch up. After that, it is about nurturing the individual genius of each child. Every child is unique and has their own strengths, weaknesses, and passions. It doesn’t matter what these might be; what matters is focusing on what it is they love and giving them the space and time to explore those passions.
We cannot forget that the core business of schools is ensuring that children and young people are able to read, write and be numerate. We also know that whatever the world may look like in the future, there will be a need to instil universal human values. Values-based education empowers schools to emphasise the centrality of all people in society
and focuses on valuing self, others and the environment, underpinning their curriculum with universal positive human values such as respect, justice, equality, integrity, harmony, trust and honesty.
At CELT, we believe that nature is a gift we should try to give to each child so forming a relationship with nature early on is a very powerful thing. Our schools are all situated in unique locations. We want children to grow up
remembering their childhood as a happy, safe place where they connected with Cornwall’s beautiful natural environment.
Young people have their own voice - our role is to hear that voice and offer the space and opportunity for it to grow.
A CELT education gives each child a moral compass and self-leadership, it enables reflection and a code of personal ethics. Our pupils become the Captain of their own ship, which ultimately enables them to navigate their wonderful, individual journeys as custodians of our future.
