St Barnabas Church Of England Multi Academy Trust is seeking a highly skilled Chief Finance and Operations Officer to join our senior leadership team. As CFOO, you will play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability, supporting our commitment to high-quality education. We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) to join and grow with our team.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with experience at a senior level, ideally within the education or public sector. You will be a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, strong financial acumen, and a commitment to our Trust’s values.

You will lead the Trust’s finance and operational functions, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and the effective use of resources. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Trustees, and school leaders to deliver strategic objectives and operational improvements. This is a full time, all year round position, you will be based at our central office which is within St Petroc's CofE Primary School in Bodmin, PL31 1DS.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic leadership of finance, HR, IT, estates, and risk management

Financial planning, budget management, and reporting

Overseeing procurement, compliance, and contract management

Leading and developing the central finance and operations team

Advising on regulatory requirements and best practice
