The Holy Family Catholic Primary school is a one form entry primary school on the outskirts of Welwyn Garden City. As a Catholic primary school, we pride ourselves on our welcoming and nurturing environment, where every pupil is valued and inspired to flourish.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School Administrator to join our hardworking team. The role is term time only plus up to five INSET days, Monday – Friday 8am-4pm.

The Role

As School Administrator you will be responsible for providing multifunctional administrative and practical support to the Head teacher, School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team. You will lead the management of the school admissions process, supporting the smooth transition of pupils into and out of the school, and be responsible for the management of the school pupil management system (Arbor). You will also undertake a wide range of other duties. Central to this will be to provide a welcoming, professional and efficient first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school, whether at the front desk, on the telephone, or by email.

About You

You will be a highly motivated, efficient and organised administrator, who is a team player, as you will work with a number of people at all levels across the school. With a track record of working in a busy environment where attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to liaise with families and professionals and remain level-headed when dealing with sensitive information. A high-level competency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is also required.

Experience of working in an education setting would be ideal; however not essential as full training and support will be provided.
