ADT Food Technician job summary

Art, Design and Technology Technician - Food

12-15 hours per week | Term time only | Required as soon as possible

Are you passionate about Food Technology and enjoy working in a practical environment? Great Western Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Art, Design and Technology Technician, with the role predominantly focused on Food Technology, to join our team.

You will work alongside teaching staff to prepare ingredients, resources and equipment for lessons, support students during practical activities, maintain equipment and help ensure the Food Technology rooms are well stocked, organised and safe.

There may also be some overlap with the wider ADT provision, working alongside our existing ADT Technician to support other practical areas of the department when required.

We are looking for someone who is practical, organised and proactive, with good communication skills and an understanding of Health and Safety in a practical setting. Experience of working with cooking equipment and Food Technology resources would be particularly valuable.
