Vacancy for an Adult Education and Front of House Manager

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 8, Points 19-24

Hours: 28 per week, term time only plus two weeks.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Adult Education and Front of House Manager to join Swavesey Village College! You will play an important role in providing comprehensive adult education provision and an efficient service to support internal and external lettings. This is a rewarding role where you will widen the participation of learning opportunities to the community and provide a valuable revenue stream for the school. This will include managing and overseeing all aspects of the hospitality, events, lettings and conferences.

The opportunity:

  • A fulfilling and rewarding role where you will be making a difference to children’s welfare and academic needs through dedicated support.
  • Provide valuable support by arranging key events for the school.
  • A rewarding role which is dedicated the community, children and school.
  • Line managing an effective and efficient team to ensure the Adult Education team runs smoothly.
  • To enhance specialist skills working alongside dedicated and professional staff in a large and highly successful multi-academy trust

The ideal candidate:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English
  • Experience of setting accurate budgets and working within an adult education environment
  • Experience of working with external agencies (desirable)
