After School Club Assistant

Contract: 4.5 hours, 2 days per week, 38 weeks per year

One of the many provisions we are proud to provide at Freeman's is a Wrap Around Care Service, which seeks to care for, assistant and develop our children outside normal school hours. We are currently seeking a caring, and responsible After School Club Assistant, who is eager to join our extended school provision, to contribute to our children’s welfare.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is passionate about their role in facilitating children’s wellbeing
  • Can work in collaboration with the whole staffing team
  • Can provide a safe environment for children, to assist across the after school period;
  • Supervise and safeguard children and monitor behaviour
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.

Freeman’s Endowed Church of England Junior Academy is a two form entry school of some 240 pupils. The school has a strong Christian ethos and links with the parish church of St Barnabas. Freeman's is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) and we have a strong working relationship with the Trust and the schools within it.
