After School Club Assistant job summary

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB ASSISTANT

10 hours per week, Monday-Friday 4.00pm-6.00pm

Term time only, plus one inset day in September

Fixed term Contract to 31.07.2026

Level B1 – actual annual salary £5,814.26

Your duties will include preparing and serving a healthy snack, and supervising and encouraging the children to interact and play.

The successful candidate will be:

Friendly with good communication skills

Motivated and enthusiastic

Able to contribute to positive play experiences

Reliable, adaptable and able to use their own initiative

Able to help resolve differences in a positive way following the Behaviour Policy

Able to work effectively as a team

Experience in working in a school setting would be an advantage but is not essential. We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic person with a sense of humour.
