After-school club assistant job summary
Oakfield First School is looking to appoint a friendly and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in providing high-quality wraparound care for our children, creating a happy, stimulating and inclusive environment at the end of the school day.
Working alongside the After School Club Supervisor, you will help deliver a varied programme of activities for children aged 4-9 years, ensuring every child feels safe, respected, valued and encouraged to have fun.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children.
- Is caring, patient, energetic and approachable.
- Can inspire children through engaging play and activities.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to use their own initiative.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
