After School Club Assistant job summary

Pomphlett Primary School are looking for an After School Club Assistant who can support high quality and varied activities for the children within a safe and caring environment. The After School Club Assistant will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the club.

We are looking for an After School Club Assistant who will:

Deliver a varied programme of high-quality play opportunities in a safe environment

Support the development of independent social skills

Help to prepare snacks, cleaning club room and toys, reporting any damages and tidying up etc

Help to implement positive behaviour strategies

Liaise with parents to enable the effective operation of the club

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
