After School Club Assistant job summary

Are you a caring, dependable and enthusiastic person who loves working with children? Would you like the opportunity to help us develop our new wrap around provision for the children of Skelton Newby Hall CE Primary School? The Governors of the Federation of Skelton Newby Hall and Sharow CE Primary Schools are looking to appoint After School Club Assistant to help establish our new after school care provision. We are planning to provide after school care from 3:30pm until 6pm Monday to Friday. This is initially a fixed-term contract of 12 ½ hours per week until August 2022. We are looking for a vibrant Club Assistant to support our high quality out of hours school provision for children (Age 4 -11) within a positive, safe & happy environment. You would be supporting in the delivery of age-appropriate activities which enthuse and engage the children, making good use of both the indoor and outdoor environment and communicating with parents. Experience of play work would be useful, but no specific qualifications required. We actively encourage you to contact the Headteacher for a discussion about this post. It is hoped that it may be possible to arrange a visit to our lovely school to meet our community and see our learning environment.
