After School Club Assistant job summary

After School Club Assistant

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and motivated After School Club Assistant to join our team for 10 hours per week, term time only (3.30-5.30pm).

We are looking for someone who:

Has good personal communication skills and the ability to relate well to children, staff and parents,

Has the ability to deliver engaging activities to children in After School Club,

Has enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children,

Will be supportive of our school ethos, aims and value.

The DHMAT are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore all shortlisted applicants must be prepared to undergo a number of checks to confirm their suitability to work with children and young people, in accordance with the DfE’s “Keeping Children Safe in Education”. An enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The Trust welcomes applications from all sectors of the Community.
