Wraparound Care Assistant (After School Club)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £2,874 per annum (actual salary) - Grade 3, pt 4
Location: Ravenswood Primary School
Contract type: permanent, 38 weeks term time only
Hours: 5 hours per week, working Wednesdays and Fridays 15:00 - 17:30

Ravenswood Primary School is looking for a Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will:
Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Help to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all children.
Encourage positive interactions and play amongst the children and organise games and activities.
Engage with the children in a positive and encouraging manner.
Implement the school's behaviour policy and address any minor issues appropriately.
Report any concerns regarding a child's welfare or behaviour to the nominated person or Designated safeguarding lead (using the schools safeguarding system).
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Prepare simple food and beverages.

As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced DBS check being completed. This post is also subject to a satisfactory probationary period and medical clearance.
