After School Club Leader job summary
The After School Leader is responsible for managing the provision which is available to children from Reception to Year 6. The Club runs Monday to Friday in our school hall. It is a vital service for the families of school as it provides essential childcare from 3:15pm to 5.30pm.
We are looking for someone who can:
Plan and lead activities for children (age range 4 -11)
Prepare and serve snacks
Organise materials and equipment to allow the children freedom to choose
Encourage independence and boost children’s self esteem
Keep a record of attendance and ensure Safeguarding protocols are followed
Build positive relationships with the children and promote school values
Enforce positive behavior management
