After School Club Play Worker job summary

We are looking to appoint a After School Club Play Worker to join our team at Shoreham Village Primary School, this position is term time only for 38 weeks of the year. Your working day will be Tuesdays only from 15.15-18.00. The position involves working closely with the children to provide encouragement, friendship and supervision and work under the guidance of the After School Club Play Leader & Headteacher. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation of snacks, cleaning away and washing up when required.
  • To be responsible to a group of children as designated by the manager.
  • Assist in ensuring that the children are safe at all times and drawing attention of the Play Leader to any likely causes of danger
  • To attend occasional staff meetings.
