    Further details about the role

    As an After School Club Playworker, you will play a key role in providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children after school hours. Your responsibilities will include supervising children in a variety of activities, including play, crafts, sports, and games, ensuring that each child is encouraged to participate and enjoy their time. You will also be responsible for building positive relationships with the children, offering guidance and support as they interact with their peers.

    In addition to promoting fun and learning, you will ensure that all activities are carried out in line with our health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies. You will also assist with managing the children's behaviour in a positive, inclusive way, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected. Communication with parents and carers will be an essential part of the role, as you will provide updates on the children's progress and well-being.

    This is a hands-on, dynamic role that requires energy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
