After School Club Playworker job summary
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Playworker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children at the end of the school day, helping to deliver a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where pupils can learn, play and relax.
You will work under the direction of the After School Club Manager to:
Supervise children during a range of activities, including indoor and outdoor play.
Help prepare and serve healthy snacks.
Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Set up and tidy away equipment.
Maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with parents.
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and understands their needs.
Can supervise groups safely and positively.
Is friendly, patient and able to work as part of a team.
Is reliable, organised and committed to high standards.
Is willing to undertake relevant training.
