After School Club Playworker job summary

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Playworker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children at the end of the school day, helping to deliver a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where pupils can learn, play and relax.

You will work under the direction of the After School Club Manager to:

  • Supervise children during a range of activities, including indoor and outdoor play.

  • Help prepare and serve healthy snacks.

  • Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

  • Set up and tidy away equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records.

  • Communicate effectively with parents.

  • Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.

    About You

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Enjoys working with children and understands their needs.

    • Can supervise groups safely and positively.

    • Is friendly, patient and able to work as part of a team.

    • Is reliable, organised and committed to high standards.

    • Is willing to undertake relevant training.
