After school Club Playworker job summary
Warlingham Village Primary School is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic After School Playworker to join our team – 17.25 hours per week, supporting children in a fun and vibrant after-school setting!
Your Opportunity
After School Club at Warlingham Village Primary School provides quality childcare for children. We are looking for someone to join our team on a permanent basis to work in the after school club from 15:00 -18:15 Monday to Thursday and 14:00 -18:15 Friday.
The successful candidate will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life and be a strong team player.

What we are looking for
- Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
- Have an interest in the play needs of children
- Be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, and other indoor and outdoor games.
- Be proactive, using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages.
- Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances
- Be enthusiastic and motivated and committed to working as part of a team

Salary: GLF Associate 1 - £22,918.66
Actual Salary: £9,205.38 (based on 17.25hrs per week)
Hours of work: 17.25hrs per week (15:00 -18:15 Monday to Thursday and 14:00 -18:15 Friday)
