Afterschool Club Assistant


Part time – Monday to Friday 2:45pm – 5:45pm (Term time, no training days) 15hrs per week


A great opportunity has arisen for a talented Afterschool Club Assistant to join our caring and successful team here at Orchard Academy, part of the East Midlands Academy Trust. We are a diverse and inclusive three-form primary school with a social communication department, and we put the children at the centre of all we do. We believe that together we will achieve.


We welcome anyone who is interested in the positions to come and have a visit to our school, which can be arranged through the main school office.


The Afterschool Club is a new venture that you will be a part of developing and shaping. If you have the same drive and passion as we do, then you are the candidate for us.


The successful candidate will:


·      Have some experience of working with children in a school or wrap around care, or be keen to being a career in education.

·      Enjoy being with children and have a real desire to see them achieve and succeed.

·      Be passionate, flexible and proactive and be keen to develop your skills.

·      Be able to work with others .

Drive the direction of the afterschool provision and ensure our children get the very best
