Alternative Provision Administrator job summary

Comberton Village College are looking for an Administrator to support our Alternative Provision team by providing confidential support with a range of administration duties. You will also liaise with external alternative provision providers, act as first point of contact for student attendance and support the Assistant Principal of Alternative Provision with a range of inclusion-based activities.

To be successful in this rewarding role, you will need to be well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. You should be able to work on your own initiative but equally work well within a team. Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to our students and their parents/carers in a positive and proactive way is crucial. Candidates should have excellent administrative and communication skills and be able to ensure that sensitive information remains confidential at all times.

The variety of provisions we utilise is vast but incorporates the local authority’s ‘Alternative Provision Directory’.

By working for our Trust, you’ll be able to take advantage of a wealth of professional development and support opportunities, as well as a range of employee benefits.
These include:
• Continuous professional development and training opportunities
• Support from your colleagues and management
• Career opportunities within our growing family of schools
• A free and confidential 24-hour counselling service
• Childcare vouchers scheme
• Free on-site parking
• Subsidised use of the fitness suite/gym
