Alternative Provision Taskforce Manager job summary

We are seeking to appoint an Alternative Provision Taskforce Manager to join our teams at Evolve Academy and Enrich Academy (Wakefield).

The successful candidate will lead on the DfE SEND and Alternative Provision Change programme; planning and delivering positive outcomes for schools and the Local Authority.

Working in collaboration with the Local Authority and two schools, you will plan and achieve the objectives of the DfE's programme such as improving mental health and wellbeing, increasing school engagement and reducing rates of non-attendance. The role will involve working closely with children and young people alongside their parents and carers and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role will involve coordination of multi-agency teams.

This is a one year pilot initially and as such could be an external appointment or internal secondment for a year from commencement.
