Alternative Provision Teacher job summary

Maternity cover. Full time, Monday - Friday.

We are seeking an Alternative Provision Teacher on a maternity cover basis to join our Pathways Centre, our internal alternative provision that supports students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

At Pathways, we support students to engage with learning in ways that recognise their individual strengths, interests and needs. We work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering a broad curriculum including Science, English, Maths, Humanities and creative subjects, alongside personalised interventions, small-group learning and individual support.

Our focus is on helping students develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours, overcome barriers to learning and prepare successfully for their next steps in education, employment and adult life.

We are looking for a passionate and committed professional who shares our high aspirations for every student. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing development of our Pathways provision, delivering high-quality learning experiences and creating opportunities for students to achieve success both academically and personally.
