About You:
At Weavers Academy, you will be a compassionate and resilient professional committed to supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning. You will bring experience in pastoral care, inclusion, or student support, alongside a strong understanding of behaviour, attendance and the challenges that can impact engagement in education. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will build positive, trusting relationships with students, families and colleagues, and approach every situation with calmness, empathy and a solution-focused mindset. Above all, you will share our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels supported, valued and able to succeed.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified and Professional:Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Alternative Provision Experience:Brings experience of working within an alternative provision setting.
- Strong Communication and Organisation Skills:Demonstrates excellent organisational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driven and Resilient Practitioner:Shows resilience, motivation and a clear commitment to raising standards and achieving excellence.
- Creative and Committed to Growth:A hardworking, forward-thinking individual who enjoys learning and actively seeks opportunities for continuous development.

The Inclusion Team at Weavers Academy is a dedicated and student-focused group committed to ensuring that every young person is supported to thrive both academically and personally. Working collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies, the team provides tailored support for students with a range of needs, including behavioural, emotional and attendance challenges. With a strong emphasis on early intervention, relationship-building and removing barriers to learning, the Inclusion Team plays a vital role in promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where all students feel valued, understood and empowered to succeed.
