What skills and experience we're looking for
About you:
- Qualified teacher committed to inclusive education
- Holds or willing to complete the National Award for SEN Coordination
- Experience supporting a range of SEND needs
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about improving outcomes for all learners
The role:
- Lead and develop SEND provision across the academy
- Coordinate support and oversee interventions for students with SEND
- Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and the SEN Code of Practice
- Work closely with staff to embed inclusive teaching strategies
- Liaise with families and external agencies
- Manage EHCP processes and maintain accurate records
