Alternative Provision Tutor / Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint an Alternative Provision Tutor for 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at The Compass Academy.

The Compass Academy is an Alternative Provision Academy which supports pupils from Hull and outer regions.

The academy supports pupils who have been permanently excluded or at risk of exclusion from their mainstream schools. A small cohort of pupils have identified special educational needs. Within this role, the successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide teaching, learning and pastoral support by working with individuals or smallgroups of students under the direction of teachingstaff/pastoral team and may be responsible for some learningactivities within the overall teaching plan.

The Compass Alternative Provision Academy is a member of the Sentamu Academy Learning Trust (SALT) situated to the north of Hull with open aspects.
