Apprentice Administrator with Financial Responsibilities job summary

About this Role

Are you organised, enthusiastic and looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career in administration or finance? Newquay Junior Academy is seeking a motivated and friendly Administration and Finance Apprentice to join our welcoming and supportive school team.

Set in the heart of Newquay, with beautiful beaches on our doorstep, our academy is a happy, vibrant place where everyone works together to make a positive difference. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our school community while developing valuable skills and gaining a recognised qualification.

You will gain hands-on experience in a busy school office, supporting everyday administration, communicating with families and helping with financial tasks such as processing invoices, managing payments and maintaining accurate records. No two days will be quite the same!

This is an opportunity to earn while you learn. The apprenticeship pathway will be agreed with the successful candidate and may involve a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification or a suitable finance-related apprenticeship, depending on their interests, experience and the needs of the school.

We're looking for someone who is organised, enjoys working with people, has a good eye for detail and, most importantly, is eager to learn.
