Chapel Green School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administrator Apprentice to join our friendly Administration and Reception Team.
At Chapel Green School, we support pupils aged 3 to 19 with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties. Every pupil is unique, and we are passionate about creating an environment where children feel happy, supported, and inspired to learn.
As our Business Administrator Apprentice, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the school, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a busy and rewarding educational setting. Working alongside experienced administrative professionals, you will receive full training and ongoing support to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
*National Apprenticeship minimum wage as of April 2026, £8.00p/h aged under 19 or aged 19 and over and in the first year of their apprenticeship or National Minimum Wage (£12.71p/h) aged over 19 and has completed their first year of apprenticeship.
**Initially an 18 month contract with a view to becoming permanent after the course is completed, for the right candidate
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a warm and professional reception service for visitors, parents, and staff.
- Supporting the administration team with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
- Undertaking word processing and document preparation duties.
- Assisting with day-to-day office operations to help ensure the school runs efficiently and effectively.
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Chapel Green is a Complex Needs School for pupils with moderate, severe, and profound learning difficulties between the ages of 3 and 19. All pupils have multiple and complex needs. All pupils have a significant learning need.

We are looking for a confident and creative individual who enjoys being with children/young people and works constructively as part of a team. They will need to be able to plan the learning of pupils with a wide range of needs using a fully differentiated approach.

Our teachers have a thorough understanding of child development and learning, especially in the early years of a child’s development, so this position would suit a teacher from the primary sector.
