We’re seeking a passionate and motivated Apprentice Careers Advisor to join our growing team at Astrea Academy Woodfields, part of the Astrea Academy Trust in South Yorkshire. If you're eager to support young people, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and begin a rewarding career in education or guidance — this role is for you.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining real-world experience while studying towards a Level 4 or 6 qualification in Careers Guidance. You’ll help organise careers events, support individual scholars with applications and next steps, and make a real difference every day.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside experienced careers professionals to deliver high-quality guidance and support.
- Help organise careers events, employer engagement activities, and workshops.
- Support individual scholars with applications, CVs, and next steps for education, training, or employment.
- Travel to other Astrea schools in South Yorkshire as part of your development programme.
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiasm for supporting young people and making a positive impact.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to completing a Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification.
