Apprentice Chaplain job summary
Three Spires Trust is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Apprentice Chaplain / Youth Ministry Worker to serve the communities of St Peter’s Academy and St Regis Academy.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone exploring a vocation in chaplaincy, youth ministry, or Christian service. The successful candidate will combine hands‑on ministry experience within two Church of England secondary schools with a fully supported two‑year apprenticeship, including academic study through St Mary’s University.
Working alongside senior leaders, chaplaincy teams, and pastoral staff, the Apprentice Chaplain will contribute to the spiritual development, wellbeing, and personal flourishing of students and staff, helping to sustain a distinctive Christian ethos rooted in the values of the Church of England.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a committed practising Christian
- Has enthusiasm for working with children and young people
- Can engage positively with students from a wide range of backgrounds
- Is eager to develop skills in chaplaincy, youth ministry, and pastoral care
- Is willing to learn through reflection, training, and guided practice
