Apprentice Estates Technician job summary
Acorn Education Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Estates team as an Apprentice Estates Technician. The role will be predominantly be based at Clarendon Academy, one of our Wiltshire-based secondary schools in Trowbridge, with opportunities to support other schools across the Trust.
Contract: Apprenticeship (typically 18–24 months, subject to apprenticeship standard). Working Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Location: Clarendon Academy (with support to other Trust schools as required). Required: ASAP.

Working alongside Trust colleagues, you will help keep school buildings and grounds safe, clean and well-maintained, support with day-to-day site maintenance and logistics while learning safe working practices, and essential maintenance skills.
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to start a career in estates, maintenance or facilities management. You will gain practical, real‑world experience in a school environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
