  • Is flexible and able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
  • Holds (or is working towards) a Level 2 Fitness qualification; Level 3 or group exercise qualifications are desirable.
  • Communicates clearly, warmly and effectively with members and colleagues.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and customer‑focused Sports Centre Team Member to join our commercial services team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high‑quality fitness and sports programmes, ensuring every member and guest enjoys an excellent experience from start to finish.

In this role, you will:

Assist members and guests with fitness support, bookings and enquiries, providing a positive, end‑to‑end experience.

Maintain clean, safe and functional gym, studio, sports hall and equipment areas at all times.

Support on gym floor cover, health checks, inductions, and (if qualified) teach or assist with group exercise classes.

Play a key role in member sales and retention by building meaningful connections and understanding members’ needs.

Uphold excellent operational standards and act as a positive role model for other staff.

Use IT systems competently to complete bookings, sales and member support tasks.
